We repair preferably brand bikes, regardless of manufacturer. The work is done cleanly and, as always, by a proven professional.

Bikes from the "food market" involve a much greater repair and service effort. Why this is so, I can tell you after 30 years of professional experience, exactly:

• Cheap and therefore low-quality components

• In many cases catastrophic manufacturing tolerances

• Inadequate quality assurance:

• Screws without washers - pinion cassettes with different sprocket distances - poorly executed welding - sharp edges and burrs everywhere - missing components - screwed-up Bowden cables ...etc.

In addition to the nerves you need with such a bike, the repair or even a service on such a bike can escalate into several hours of hard work. On such a bike, EVERY hour of work is FULLY charged. (Our hourly rate is SFr. 80.-)
